We work hard to ensure that our socks are of the highest quality. However, the life span can vary depending on the care and handling of your Oiman Socks.

Here are a few simple, sustainable habits to keep in mind:

1. If you like stretchy socks, never wash them at a temperature above 40°C/104°F. The elastane doesn’t like it and becomes stiff and boring. (Our extra fine styles, wool socks and compression socks should never be washed at a temperature above 30°C/86°F.)
2. Always use a washing bag that stops microplastics from ending up in our oceans.Ā (All socks have some kind of synthetic material in them, regardless if it is recycled or virgin they all release microplastics during laundry.)
3. A super easy tip is to skip fabric softener and always avoid bleaching.
4. To keep your socks and beachwear looking fresh longer, wash them inside out.
5. For products with embellishments, use a wash bag to protect them during laundry.
6. Go easy on the detergent! Too much detergent does not necessarily result in cleaner clothes, but it does have a negative impact on water systems.Ā 
7. Even though our socks are durable, they will last longer if they are kept out of the tumble dryer. Hang your socks instead and you’ll save energy (and cash, yippee!).
8.Ā Important: When putting on your brand new pair of Oiman Socks, please take the time to cut the thread on the label with a pair of scissors instead of ripping it off as this can damage the socks.Ā 

How do you ensure the quality of your products?

oiman Socks pays close attention to the production of our collections and only uses the best materials and the sharpest designs. A meticulous attention to detail paired with AQL 2,5 inspection standards allows oiman Socks to maintain and constantly develop the product quality. The life span of the products varies depending on the care and handling. Make sure you check our care instructions found above.

How are your products manufactured?

Our products are produced in China. oiman Socks ensures that suppliers are of high standards; from quality, social and environmental perspective, by making a holistic assessment before we bring them in as an approved business partner. We collaborate closely with our suppliers and make regular visits as well as inspections at their facilities.

We carry out on site supplier assessments at least once a year that are performed by staff from our China headquarters. In addition, we have local production offices in WenZhou, China. Our production office team members have daily contact with our suppliers and visit them frequently. During those visits, production quality and facility standards are controlled and discussed.

Oiman Socks is a member of Amfori, participating in their BSCI program, and we also require that our suppliers are audited through Amfori BSCI. We accept a BSCI audit report where the final score is C or above, and we also collaborate with our suppliers on continuous improvements in this area. If a supplier has an approved SEDEX report, we can also accept that while the supplier prepares for BSCI audit.

The suppliers are also required to sign the Oiman Socks Code of Conduct to make sure they maintain high standards, no child labour is used and no other forms of abuse occur. In addition, for chemical safety we require all suppliers to comply with REACH, sign our Restricted substance list as well as becoming Oeko-Tex certified.

What is the Oiman Socks Code of Conduct?
The Oiman Socks Code of Conduct is a clarification of our requirements for environmental and social equity. The requirements set in our Code of Conduct are based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the ILO 8 Core Conventions.

The Amfori BSCI, a common Code of Conduct, regulates working environment issues, including workplace health and safety, working hours, industrial compensation and the prohibition of child labour.

Oeko-Tex is a certification system for materials used in a certain product. The certification confirms that the material and/or final product is correctly produced without hazardous and toxic substances.

How do you monitor the country of origin of the cotton used in your products?
The cotton used in our products is sourced from XinJiang China. We require the factories we work with to be able to provide documentation to disclose the source of cotton. We monitor the process closely by being in constant contact with all our suppliers. Additionally, part of our sock collection is produced with certified organic cotton according to OCS (Organic Content Standard). Through the OCS certification we can secure the traceability of the organic cotton from the farmer to the ready made sock.

How do you ensure that your products are free from hazardous chemicals?
Our suppliers and sub-suppliers have to commit to following the regulation set in REACH, a regulation within EU for hazardous and toxic chemicals. To help our suppliers further pursue environmental responsibility in terms of reducing use of harmful substances, we also require that they become Oeko-Tex STANDARD 100 certified.

These terms and conditions (the ā€œConditionsā€) apply to the orders placed by the customer (ā€œyouā€) in your capacity as a consumer for purposes outside of commercial or professional activities. By using the Websites and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Conditions.

PRICING

If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. PAYMENT

We accept card payments by Visa, MasterCard, American Express and several local payment options. Upon receiving your order we carry out a standard pre-authorisation check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. Please note that the products will not be dispatched until the pre-authorisation check has been completed. Your card will be debited once the order has been accepted. All payments are handled by Adyen.

DELIVERY

Orders within the EU are sent from WenZhou China. When placing an order, you may choose standard shipping or tracked shipping.

For information on our delivery times, please refer to the table here. We always strive to deliver your ordered products within the times stated in this table. However, due to unexpected events the delivery times are sometimes longer, for example as a result of postal delays or force majeure events. Dispatch times may also be longer during times with higher sales volumes, such as holiday seasons.

RETURNS

During 30 days following the delivery of your order, you may request refund of items, which you must return to us in perfect condition and in accordance with our returns process. Returns will only be accepted if labels and original packaging are fully intact and products have not been damaged or altered. Oiman Socks cannot accept returns where labels have been removed. You are responsible for the shipping of returned items back to Oiman Socks. Items lost in transportation will not be compensated for.

Any shipping charges for returns will be at your own expense, postal services may be used for the return. Please consult your local postal office for the official postal fees. Refunds for returned products will be made within 14 days of receipt of the returned product, using the same payment method used to make the payment. Please note that the refund will be made for the entire product cost (including VAT), however excluding shipping costs.

Please note that products cannot be refunded at any stores. We do not accept exchange of products.

RIGHT OF CANCELLATION

If you reside within the EU, you may cancel the contract for any reason and without a justification within 14 days from receiving the products from Oiman Socks. To exercise this right, you must send us a clear message of your wish to cancel the contract, either in writing to Oiman Socks AB, Floors 1-3 of Buildings A and B, Wanjia Garden, Anyang Street, Ruian City, Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, or contact our Customer Service, or by using and submitting the standard form issued by your local Consumer Rights Authority. You must also, at your own cost, return the products without delay and at latest within 14 days from your message to cancel the contract.

We will refund you the money paid for the products that have been cancelled, using the same method used to make the payment, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. This includes the delivery costs for standard delivery, except for such additional delivery costs if you have chosen another, more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery. We will not cover your return. The refund will be made within 14 days from receiving your message to cancel the contract, although we may wait until we have received the products back or you provided evidence of having sent back the products.

Please note that if you have handled the products in a greater extent than as necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products, you will be liable for the diminished value of the returned products. Please also note that the right of cancellation does not apply for products which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygienic reasons, if such protection (for example plastic protection or labels) has been unsealed by you after delivery (this applies for socks, face masks, swimwear and underwear).

DISCOUNT CODES

Discount or promotional codes may from time to time be offered, please note that the terms and conditions provided in connection with such discount codes apply. Only one promotional discount code can be applied to an order.

PRICING

The prices on the Website are final prices, however excluding state or local sales tax. Any state or local sales taxes applicable to your order will be calculated and added when you provide your shipping address on the checkout page. The price displayed on the checkout page will be the final price including all sales taxes.

The prices displayed on the Website do not include delivery costs, which are charged separately.

Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices that appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled.

PAYMENT

We accept card payments by Visa, MasterCard, American Express and several local payment options. Upon receiving your order, we carry out a standard pre-authorization check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. Please note that the products will not be dispatched until the pre-authorization check has been completed. Your card will be debited once the order has been accepted. All payments are handled by Adyen.

DELIVERY

All orders are packed at our distribution center in WenZhou (CN). We operate Monday to Friday and not on local public holidays. When placing an order, you may choose standard shipping or tracked shipping.

For information on our delivery times, please refer to the table here. We always strive to deliver your ordered products within the times stated in this table. However, due to unexpected events the delivery times are sometimes longer, for example as a result of postal delays or force majeure events. Dispatch times may also be longer during times with higher sales volumes, such as holiday seasons.

Shipping costs will be added where applicable and for the delivery option chosen. For shipping charges, please view our shipping charge table. If you have any questions about your delivery, please review our support page where you can also find contact information to the Oiman Socks support team.

RETURNS

During 30 days following the delivery of your order, you may request refund of items, which you must return to us in perfect condition and in accordance with our returns process. Returns will only be accepted if labels and original packaging are fully intact and products have not been damaged or altered. Oiman Socks cannot accept returns where labels have been removed. You are responsible for the shipping of returned items back to Oiman Socks. Items lost in transportation will not be compensated for.

Any shipping charges for returns will be at your own expense, postal services may be used for the return. Please consult your local postal office for the official postal fees. Refunds for returned products will be made within 14 days from receipt of the returned product, using the same payment method used to make the payment. Please note that the refund will be made for the entire product cost charged by Oiman Socks (including paid sales taxes), however excluding shipping costs.

Please note that products cannot be refunded at any stores. We do not accept exchange of products.

DISCOUNT CODES

Discount or promotional codes may from time to time be offered, please note that the terms and conditions provided in connection with such discount codes apply. Only one promotional discount code can be applied to an order.
